Grapes For nearly ten years, people have been calling Firesteed a "virtual winery" because of our unprecedented approach to this ancient agricultural business. From the onset, we have been committed to making premium quality varietal wines at prices people can truly afford. These pages have been developed especially for people in the trade who want to explain the Firesteed concept to potential customers: A concept that combines the latest in quality management, market response and service to our business partners with a great trust in the cycles of the sun and rain, the fertility of the soil and belief in the artistry of winemaking.

Firesteed now has a real winery in Oregon! Yes, we have transformed from a "Virtual Winery" to a "Traditional Winery" in Oregon. Firesteed is still a "Virtual Winery" in Italy. During the summer of 2003, Firesteed purchased Flynn Vineyards, Inc.. This winery and its staff are well known to us at Firesteed, as we have been producing our wines there since 1993.

The Tasting Room at Firesteed Cellars:

Firesteed now has a tasting room and a retail shop at the winery. A drive through the heart of the Willamette Valley brings guests to our winery's tasting room which is located just 13 miles west of Salem, Oregon and 2 miles north of the intersection of Pacific Highway (99W) and Highway 22.

Michael Bonner, our Tasting Room / Hospitality Manager, and his professional, friendly staff will guide guests through an array of our elegant, award-winning wines.

Our Tasting Room welcomes guests daily from 11 am to 5 pm. Larger groups and private tastings may be accommodated by calling ahead for an appointment.
