Firesteed 2003 Pinot Noir (Oregon); $10.  A fine alternative to simple, sweet blush wines is this value Oregon Pinot.  The color suggests it is older than an '03, but that just makes it more approachable.  Yes it's light, but it's not generic.  It offers round varietal flavors of sweet strawberries, hints of herbs and a dash of vanilla.
