Among notable whites in the release is Firesteed Oregon Pinot Gris 2002 ($17.95, No. 568071): This light, delicate chardonnay lover's alternative shows flavours of red apple and juicy pear accented by minerals and a crisp, clean finish. Very versatile, it would be an especially fine match for poached or baked salmon.
